i ask because this is a situation i run into sometimes, and some input would be great. also, feel free to evaluate my play.

this is the begining of the second orbit, so i don't really have a read.

the converter is being wacky, so i had to fix some of this.

thanks.

If you have 78o there, fold pre-flop. Calling an 8xBB raise with it is just silly. Two-pair, unlike a set, is easily counterfeitable.

Villain's play is eh...decent. I probably would've done the same against an average opponent (you'll see QJ, AQ, KQ, etc. there a lot).

I think villain played it brilliantly. He lost the hand but apparently ended up taking all of the pot except $6.60. Basically he is a genius.

Villian play it very well given the stacks and array of potential draws on that flop.

Your preflop call in pretty attrocious but you hit your flop. After the flop you played it perfectly.

He had lots of ways to outdraw you postflop so be glad your bottom two held up. Calling 8 BBs preflop with 87o is a negative EV proposition against good players...and maybe at best neutral against bad ones. Bottom two ** NOT EQUAL TO ** a set.
