The will be in if this bill (http://www.komotv.com/stories/35494.htm) gets passed by the Washington State Legislature.

God forbid anyone take responsibility for themselves and/or their children. Violent video games are clearly rated for adults (just like adult themed R movies and pr0n), and parents need to monitor what Junior is up to, LIKE THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO BE DOING.

Those of you who live it WA, PLEASE contact your legislators (find out who they are here (http://www.leg.wa.gov/DistrictFinder/Default.aspx)) and let them know this is unacceptable.

The real crime is that all these parents let their kids sit on their asses playing video games 8 hours a day.

If the kids are in playing games how are games reposponsible for crimes.

I have this problem with my stepson 12 stays in all the time watching dvds and playing games. We are trying to get him active and out with his mates but he says a lot of them (particulary the ones from school near his dads where drugs etc is rife) are out in gangs roaming the streets and are fighting and he doesnt want be be out doing that and getting into trouble, so its a no win situation really.

I dont beleive games cause kids to turn to crime in the same way I dont think it turns adults to crime. Some in both sections may do crime and may copy the games but they are in the very very small minority who would have found some other trigger anyway.
