First, my question.

If you have 10 people buyin and 2 rebuys do you use the payouts for 10 people or 12 people? Do you stick with the 10 player payout and just pay more money, or do you expand the payout structure as people rebuy? What about add-ons?

Second, here is my setup. Suggestions? Rebuy/Add-on make sense the way we are doing it?

- 25 minute blinds
- T1000 chips

First 3 rounds we allow ONE rebuy.

Anytime during the first 3 rounds ONCE you can add-on 500 chips for half of entry fee if your at or below start chips.

Anyone who didnt add-on 500 chips during the first 3 rounds can do so at break regardless of their stack size for half entry fee.

5 10
10 20
15 30
20 40
25 50
30 60
40 80
50 100
75 150
100 200 25
150 300 25
200 400 25
300 600 50
400 800 50
500 1000 50

Use the 10 player payout schedule. Rebuys just add to the prize pool, you're not having to beat additional players.

Use a percent payout like 50-30-20, 60-30-10 or 75-25.

Rebuys & add-ons just add to the prize pool and shouldn't change the payout structure.

I'd consider droping the 30-60 & 40-80 levels... without those I think you're looking at 5-6 hrs depending on breaks/agression... if you're trying to extend the length of the tourney I'd up the 25min to 30min rather than throw in 2 blinds... if you like having the levels 'cause of a ton of $5 chips for example might consider lowering the levels to 20min... just some thoughts.

Also, depending on the buy-in (and players) consider that you may have a bunch of rebuys and most players may add-on so you could change from 10k in play to 16-18k which could extend the tourney a few levels.

Let us know how it works out and any changes you'll make for the next one.
