HAND 1 -

Villain is loose - not overly aggressive.
This is a pretty boring hand but I want to discuss the merits of firing another shell on the turn and/or river. I have problems with these situations.

HAND 2 - More interesting - Villain is a rock according to limited PT stats. But, I've seen Villian play marginal hands aggressively.

In hand 1 I think you can definitely fire another, slightly larger caliber shell on the turn. If that is called and you get no help on the river it's a check unless you have a read that he will chase draws and fold on the end.

Hand 2 looks good all around. I'm not sure I want the pot getting too much bigger.

Hand 1
I'd like to see the turn bet as your odds increased when you picked up the flush draw also a bet here might possibly trigger a laydown. I assume he took it down with a small PP.

Hand 2
I would say fold after the flop bet got raised but in your case I would have also minraised the turn and folded to a reraise and that probably would have saved you money in that he would have looked for a river bet if you still felt you were behind u could have checked behind. I dunno, both lines look pretty weak to me.

In hand 2, I dunno if I would have called the check raise on the flop. It looks to me like you are in trouble here and it might cost you a bundle.

Hand 1 - What do you suggest betting on the turn - 1/2 pot?

Hand 2 - This is what I was thinking (after the hand) -
so minraise the turn and fold to a reraise? What if villain calls the raise and leads the river - still a clear fold?

In hand one you need to come out stronger on the turn, bet at least 1/2 the pot if not more. if he calls there checking behind him on the river is fine, because he either has a pair he's commited to, or he's got a busted draw that your AK is likely to beat anyway.
Hand two I think you need to either make a strong reraise on the flop or just throw it away.
