I'll be at Foxwoods from the evening of 3/4 to the evening of 3/6. Who else is going to be around?

I might be there on Saturday, but I sure as heck ain't going around introducing myself.

Anyway, I'll prolly just be playing in the binky games, so I won't be trading brown trout with all you middle-level stakes guys.

I'll probably be there Saturday in the 1/2 NL or the 5/10 Omaha.

I may be heading up Thursday or Friday morning. Considering the morning $45+$15 tourney and maybe an Act I (and hopefully Act II) event as well.

I'm AJ and there are pics of me at www.triplethreatpoker.com (http://www.triplethreatpoker.com) which is for my home games. Depending on how things go, I might consider playing at a NL table or a 7-stud or Omaha hi/lo ring game.

I will be playing the 20/40 probably, maybe at odd hours. I'm like 5'9", very skinny white guy in my 20s, a Red Sox hat with a B on it on, possibly small oval glasses. I look like I sit in a room with no windows all day, because I do.

I'll be the one with all of Joe Tall's chips.

You forgot to add that you're always staring straight down and never say a word at the table /images/graemlins/laugh.gif

20-40? Damn, way too rich for my blood. At most I might play a 5-10 game if I have the money, but usually I'm slumming it in the 1-5 7-stud tables. Definetely need to build a bankroll and take a shot at some higher limits. /images/graemlins/frown.gif

Staring straight down and trying to ignore Barry's incessant attempts to get me to talk. I wish they allowed headphones at Foxwoods. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Wear earplugs. :P

Oh yeah, I might bring along my mini magic 8-ball. Then when I get an opponent heads-up I'll look at the bottom and say "did you make your flush?..........my sources say NO!" and I'll push all-in and he'll know what's what then?

I'll be there the 7-8th... a family gathering, every year we go to a casino to get everyone together... and they wonder why I play so much poker...

I might check out the morning tourney, and i'll be at the 1/2 or 2/5 NL tables. but it sounds like you'll be gone by time i get there.

I'll probably be there all day Friday and into the evening at $20-$40. I'll have my new Ipod with me, which I bought to keep boredom at bay during long sessions.

Heck, I would have settled for a smile or even a nod. /images/graemlins/wink.gif You're in luck this weekend; I won't be there trying yet again.

Good luck, play well and be in an obscenely good game.

Well if you are not going to be there then the games have a higher probability of being better. My first B+M experience was you taking all of my money. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Say hi-- I don't talk when I play, so I never meet anybody unless they come over and introduce themselves.

I'll be there from Thursday morning through Friday early evening, probably at the 5-10. I'll be wearing a black baseball cap with a slogan that includes "1963."

They allow those? I have seen people get yelled at constantly for having headphones on.

Actually, you are probably right. I might leave it at home. Anyone know for sure?

The official rule is that you can't have headphones of any sort on. Some dealers and floorpeople enforce it more strictly than others.

As long as you go perfect, perfect to better full hourses, you will have all my chips. I'll be there Friday night but I'm likely to be playing 2/4 w/my girlfriend as we are headed to see Grease.

I'll give you a call,
Joe

I'll be there tomorrow as well. Probably playing 4/8 or 5/10 from around 3 until my girlfriend gets there around 9. Then I'll probably play 2/4 with her. As always, I'd love to meet up with some 2+2ers. If anyone wants me to put them on lists or anything, drop me a PM before 11 tomorrow with what you want, or we can exchange phone numbers.

Yeah, now I'm definitely going tomorrow. I'll probably get there around 9-10am and play $1/$2, possibly $5/$10 Kill. As usual, look for an old faded/frayed Pats hat...

I'm definitely going as well. I'll be in the 1/2 NL with the guy from my avatar as my card protector. I will probably also be there Sunday morning until about 2 or 3 PM.

I'll definitely keep an eye out for you...still wondering who you are from the Plainville tourney. Roughly how old are you, for reference?

Ghazban
03-04-2005, 12:28 PM
I'm 28, about 6'4", and look sort of like John Malkovic (though only poker players seem to think so). If I'm at the tables, the card protector will be the dead giveaway (pun intended)-- I've never seen anybody with anything similar.

I'll be there Friday night and Saturday. I'll be the big stack at the 1/2 table who doesn't shut up. Also, I'm a chick, so that makes it easier. Vanessa's the name - come say hi.

This describes me, too (other than the big stack part lately /images/graemlins/frown.gif) I'm usually fairly quiet but put me at a poker table and I just can't STFU.

I'll be there on Saturday, playing either $4/8 or at the binky NL table.

I won't shut up, I'll piss everyone off, and probably lose my roll to some fish.

You'd be glad to have me at your table if it wasn't for how pissed I'll make you.

Ghazban

I've never been pissed at a poker table in my life-- good luck changing that.

Everyone,

I'll be there this evening and then later on tonight playing 2/4 w/the girlfriend. I have a black mock sweater on and a leather coat. I'm fcking tall if you see me walking around.

Say hi.

Peace,
Joe Tall

I'll be playing $2/4 or $4/8 depending on which list I get to the top of first. I plan to get there about 9 AM tomorrow.

Another ridiculously soft day at the $1/$2. The first table I was at was good for a while, with a calling station to my right and a super-LAG to my left. I know that sounds backwards from the ideal, but it worked out great for me. I built up nicely over the course of a few hours and was hovering around +$600 for a while when a super-duper-LAG sat down a couple seats to my right. After either raising, or calling every raise, every hand for a half hour, and catching every flop, he was up a quick $1000. So he decides to ride his rush and blind call another guy's $100 blind pre-flop all in, and doubles the guy up. Fair enough. The very next hand, they agree ahead of time that the guy who just doubled up will go all-in blind again, and super-duper-LAG will call him blind. $212. They do it. Another guy cold calls behind with AK suited and takes down the hand - ah, sweet, sweet justice. Anyway, as much as I would have loved to take their stacks, I just wasn't comfortable there and couldn't deal with it anymore, so I moved tables. Man, people are stupid.

Hmmm, I'm wondering, were you at my table? Did you lose an all-in to a runner-runner full house to the super-LAG to my right when you flopped the nut straight (and got me to fold the bottom end of the straight)? Crazy hand.
