Astonishing, and quite humorous.

This one from yesterday is not quite as bad, but it made me a nice profit in an otherwise not so good pokersession:

Hmm... could be you are right. Although with a very loose weak button open limping and the BB passive preflop it seemed like the right thing to do at the time. I know I got lucky though. Mostly I just thought it funny w the button hanging in, then raising two players at the river w/ q high and calling the reraise...

Maybe he thought that this was the brand new deuce-to-seven variety of hold 'em?

Yesterday my I value bet my hand... and was called by someone whose cards didn't play. I suppose he was hoping I was playing the (non-paired) board as well.

You're right. People bet King High on every street. I can't lose. /images/graemlins/wink.gif

P.S. If he is the type to call you to the river with <King High, then why not cap pre flop?

you don't know this guy. he continually would raise and reraise all streets with any 2 cards. i'm betting for value, and quite confidently. this guy was not your run of the mill maniac. he was something special.

I would be very suspicious of SB and BB being colluders (albeit bad ones) in your hand, helpmeout.

Yeah colluding to give their money away! /images/graemlins/grin.gif Giving some credence to the thought that the reason collusion is not much of a threat at low-midlevels is the people using it are usually not good pokerplayers... Because those make lots of cash anyway and dont have to risk it. Nh helpmeout, and thats one of the bigger 10/20 pots I have seen.
