Been at the table for about 40 minutes. Reads on Villian: not afraid to play a raised pot OOP but my notes say he respects a sizable raise. I seem to have misapplied this note on both the flop and turn. Where did I go wrong this hand? Admittedly my river call was a big potion of my error but does everyone put a player on a solid hand when they call a large turn bet?

Also, I still haven't gotten replies from my first post (http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showthreaded.php?Cat=&Number=1827725&page=2&view=c ollapsed&sb=5&o=&fpart=1) yet. Any commentary would be helpful.

Anyone else see this as being a clear fold PF?

Yep--"Personally, I would fold A3 suited UTG" --as quoted from my initial post. But oh well, Jonny knows how to handle these hands. Unfortunately he outdrew someone only to get outdrawn... /images/graemlins/smirk.gif

In my defense it was going to be my last hand of the day and i usually like playing any two cards (stupid and irrational, i know). Furthermore I was not going to get raised in this particular table as it was loose and very passive (see how many limpers?). If this is an argument about drawing OOP, then yes, its a mistake but i easily dump a draw if I think my holdings will become transparent.

I do see a little virtue in playing Axs in LP in that if you do flop two-pair, you will get people to overplay their TP's. However, UTG it's not great, as you will likely be OOP. And Axs as opposed to Axo because of the flush draw equity.
