Dell Laptop Shipment Question

Hey guys, orderred my Dell 6000 yesterday. I was just wondering what method they use to ship it because I don't think I will be home for the week it is scheduled to be delivered. Also, do they ever ship them out earlier than the projected delivery date?

mine came UPS 2 day, but that was one of the specials. the 2 day part. i got a router delivered from DHL, so they don't use just one.

you will get a ship notice when it goes out and it will tell you.

After the 500 coupon from techbargains, it was 917 or so. I added alot of extra features to make it be 1399+ so that I could use the 500 off coupon. Extra memory, faster processor, etc. With tax I paid 990.

I just got my dell last month was shipped ups and there was a link to UPS so you could track the progress of the shipment. I did have to sign for the shipment.
