when using gametime in regard to table averages i have a couple of questions.
1.what is the difference between simple average and weighted average?
2. which one do you prefer to use and why?

simple is just the average of all the players at the time.
Weighted is calculated by taking into account the number of hands played by the individual and weighing it accordingly.

I use simple (now) because when using weighted there always seems to be 1 player at the table with 500 hands and the rest have 5 giving some crazy averages.
