Curious to know about where everyone's at with their "Fold to River Bet %". Mine's currently at 50%, which I'm not sure is still high. Many times I think this is effected by the fact that the pots are very large and justify my calling with a weak draw and then I don't hit and have a bet and overcaller...or making a free card play and getting bet into on the river UI....where are you at?

Just a thought...it would be a lot easier to respond to this poll if you provided ranges of numbers, rather than static responses for every 5 percentage points. I rounded to 45, but my actual number is 46.39.

OK...I'll keep that in my for the next round. This is the first time I've ever tried making a poll. I was assuming that folks would round. Thanks for the response.

Mine is just a hair over 30%.

Granted I'm playing in different games than some of you are, but I consider this to be at worst a small leak. My guess is that some of you are getting a little bit too fixated in the raise/fold mentality and aren't calling down enough.

If your showdowns won percentage is like 57% or something, and you're folding to a lot of river bets, then you're almost certainly making some bad folds.

I think this is one of those stats that can also be deceptive. If your postflop play in general and your hand-reading skills in particular are very good, then you will likely be in fewer river situations where a folding is an option. Conversely, if your playing style is very aggressive and/or your table selection is good, the pot will often be large enough to justify mediocre river calls.

I've always wondered about this stat too. With about 20K hands at each level it seems to be going down as I move up.

My VPIP is a little higher than most (23% at .5/1 and 1/2, 19.75 at 2/4)and aggression is a little lower (bout 2) so that may have something to do with it along with improved play (I hope).

The more drawing hands played, the higher it would be so as the tables get tighter the less drawing hands are played and the lower that fold % would be.

.5/1:Fold river: 57.2% wsd: 35.7% won: 51.55% bb/100: 6.6
1/2: Fold river: 50.8% wsd: 36.8% won: 50.71% bb/100: 2.7
2/4: Fold river: 48.6% wsd: 34.2% won: 50.72% bb/100: 2.6

Anyone else notice similar trends? Is this a place I should be looking for leaks?
