Some people are lucky. I was playing live last night at a casino, 6/12 game. This young guy joined the table, on his first hand he was UTG, he raises in the blind and says I am not going to look at my cards and call every bet or raise. Ofcourse people bet and raised and did not worry much about him since he did not look at his cards, at the showdown he had pocket aces, lucky bastard.

Yes its happened to me. And they usually have pocket aces. I never believe them. They've usually sneeked a quick peak at some point.

I saw someone do this and he raised every opportunity without looking.

He had pocket jacks and flopped quads.

This reminds me of a hand i played at the boats here on valentines day.

3/6 full kill, UTG post the 6 kill.

folded to me in MP1. I know this is my last hand because my roommate has busted out of the nickle slots, and is tired of me buying him drinks. So, when i get dealt my cards, i have simply, and very delibrately, slid them underneath a green chip. I think the only one who notices that i dont look at them is the dealer.

I Open raise the kill. A semi decent but wildly varying mp3 cold calls, folded to the original kill poster, who is decent but extremely loose, and likes to make some rediculous laydowns and calldowns.

Flop comes QJ5. Checked to me, i bet, all call.

Turn 3. Check, i bet, late position folds, poster calls.

River. 8. Check, bet, call. I dont like getting called.

I had previously destroyed this poster with pocket kings i a kill pot, so, i dont expect him to have a whole lot, as i dont think he liked the fact that i used his money to buy him a drink. Before i can go through the spectacle of turning up my cards, he says "ive got king high, any pair beats me." "well, lets see what i have then." I turn over a 4. "Thats wond do it." I turn over the beautiful ace. "Poker is easy. I cant believe you called me down with K high." The dealer is trying to not laugh, and the MP3 player says "You didnt look at your cards! I had a jack, you chased me out with a pair." As im racking up my chips, "Who folds? Who does that, really?" Toss a chip to the dealer, and im out.

Live play is so much fun.

I just heard that story from someone . . . Bukem, where do you hail from? Maybe there's just tons of people raising blind with jacks and flopping quads, though /images/graemlins/smile.gif.

That was my first trip to a B&M, only 3/6 at the Taj.

I'm sure he's not the only person good enough to do this manuever.

I live in reno/tahoe now.
