Party $11

If you would fold this, what about with AK, would you call with that?

Absent a read I play it the same.

Any reads? Have min-raises been stealing blinds?

I agree with the play minus reads -- I generally don't like entering raised pots in this situation, but you're two hands from the blinds and it probably won't get better than this.

Question:

Do you expect to win with this hand/decision 100% of the time?

No, but I don't see what you mean as I wouldn't expect to win with AA 100% of the time yet I would surely call with that.

Unless I'd played with this person before, I can't imagine I'd have a read strong enough to lay this down.

I think Scuba's point is that to the rest of us this hand looks completely unremarkable. Your opponent could have many different hands, and a smaller fraction of those times he will have a great hand such as AA or KK. Your decision was fine, and it doesn't make a difference what your opponent had.

I would move allin and hope you have the best hand. You have no fold equity in 2 hands, and you have a very strong hand for a 5 handed game. You did the right thing.

That makes more sense. /images/graemlins/grin.gif
