Final Table Tournament Simulation

I would like to simulate the final table of the World Series of Poker, in order to add a twist to the usual home game.

The question I have is, how should it be structured so that it would end in a timely manner, provide final table feel, and be fun.

I anticipate either a winner take all or payout for the top three.

I'd like to volunteer to guard the Million $$$ in cash. May I bring my own cardboard box?
