Nice game tonight. I was stuck ~110 in the 2-6 spread game. Nothing to write home about.

I was debateing a table change. I get 9's on the button. I make it 4 togo. 3 callers flop comes A92 rainbow. Checked to me. I make it 4 togo 2 callers. I am not really worried about redraws at this time. Turn comes an 8 2 clubs on the board. Chick MP makes it 6 to go.Folded to me I raise she reraise I rerasie she calls. River blank. I bet she calls, she mucks.


About 10 hands later I am in the SB I get delt 9's again New player in the CO makes it 6 to go I rereraise same lady calls lady next to her also calls new players rerasies I cap. Flop A97r Checked to new player he bets I raise ladys call he reraises I cap. Turn another ace. Same action same way. River blank checked around to me I bet 3 callers. I drag ~ 300 dollar pot New guy flases me AQo lady who I beat with the set of 9's before flash an ace.

Poor lady never wants to see another 9 in a holdem game when she holds an ace.

Since you are new to LV, I advise going down to Binions on a Wednesday afternoon at 2PM to meet with the weekly poker group. They meet for lunch in the back room of the coffe shop, which is on the opposite side of the casino far from the poker room. You will find lots of like minded players (well.. they won't play that agro with 99 but otherwise they are like minded) there, and a few 2+2 regulars. Ed Miller has been known to show up sometimes too.
