What's the easiest way to create detailed graphs or charts of money made by date or per hour, or BB/100 vs. month etc. using the data in poker tracker ??

If you don't want to use Excel, I guess http://www.pokercharts.com would be a good place to check out.

I do mine by myself in Excel -- it's really easy if you've got an elementary knowledge of Excel -- they turn out pretty good (you can check them out in my blog: www.zbasic.com/pokerblog.html (http://www.zbasic.com/pokerblog.html) )...the ones i made in 2004 were much more detailed b/c i updated them every day. this year i only update once / week.

Doesn't do it automatically, though, which i suppose is what you're looking for.

How do you do them then? Do you manually enter the values at the end of the day/week , or do you export excel data from PT and then create the graph in excel?

(After reading your post more thoroughly I guess you do it manually once a week)

here (http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showthreaded.php?Cat=&Number=1502124&page=&view=&s b=5&o=&vc=1)

try this, i posted that a long time ago, i also think the way i described gives you your graph upside down or backwards. just play with it in excel

Yes, that method will give you a backwards graph, I ran into the same problem.

The reason is, when you export from PT it puts the latest session data first instead of at the end. I used a macro to flip the data around and graphed from there to solve the problem.

Yep, I don't import data automatically from PT, but rather enter it at week's end into the pretty comprehensive spreadsheet I created. Personally I love Excel.

Easier than using a macro is to just sort the data based on the date column.
