We were playing a tourney the other night and a cute girl made a big raise pre-flop. Another guy thought for a second and folded. He asked her, "Did you have Big Slick?"
She flipped over her cards to show an A-Q and said, "Not quite... I had Big Slippery". Chuckles. The the guy said back to her, "Hey, I've go one of those...". Bigger chuckles... the girl, laughing, was tuning a little red. /images/graemlins/blush.gif
That's when I said (in perfect comedic timing), "Yea... too bad you can only limp in with it." /images/graemlins/grin.gif
But the laughing from the previous joke drowned it out and nobody heard it. /images/graemlins/frown.gif By the time it died down, it was too late... the moment was over.
Man, I hate it when that happens...
