Had an amazing run of cards so far today.
In the space of 400 hands I have had AA 4 time, KK twice, QQ 5 times and JJ 3 times.

A couple of questions about two of my QQ hands - one I won and one I folded.

First the one I won:

Paradise Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (5 handed) converter (http://www.selachian.com/tools/bisonconverter/hhconverter.cgi)

saw flop|<font color="#C00000">saw showdown</font>

Button ($133.00)
SB ($69.50)
BB ($111.00)
Hero ($120.50)
MP ($44.50)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with Q/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, Q/images/graemlins/spade.gif. SB posts a blind of $0.50.
<font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $4.5</font>, <font color="#666666">3 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">BB raises to $7.5</font>, Hero calls $3.50.

Flop: ($16.50) K/images/graemlins/heart.gif, Q/images/graemlins/heart.gif, 4/images/graemlins/club.gif <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">BB bets $10</font>, Hero calls $10.

Turn: ($36.50) T/images/graemlins/diamond.gif <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
BB checks, <font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $20</font>, <font color="#CC3333">BB raises to $40</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $102.5</font>, BB folds.

Final Pot: $179

I didn't have him on a made hand.
Question is: should I have waited to push until the river or was I right to push there?

Hand two:

Paradise Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (9 handed) converter (http://www.selachian.com/tools/bisonconverter/hhconverter.cgi)

saw flop|<font color="#C00000">saw showdown</font>

UTG+1 ($98.50)
MP1 ($117.00)
MP2 ($103.25)
MP3 ($80.25)
CO ($91.50)
<font color="#C00000">Button ($139.75)</font>
Hero ($188.25)
<font color="#C00000">BB ($99.00)</font>
UTG ($41.00)

Preflop: Hero is SB with Q/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, Q/images/graemlins/heart.gif. Hero posts a blind of $0.50.
UTG calls $1, <font color="#666666">4 folds</font>, CO calls $1, <font color="#CC3333">Button raises to $4</font>, Hero (poster) calls $3.50, BB calls $3, UTG calls $3, CO calls $3.

Flop: ($20) 4/images/graemlins/heart.gif, 8/images/graemlins/spade.gif, 3/images/graemlins/heart.gif <font color="#0000FF">(5 players)</font>
Hero checks, BB checks, UTG checks, <font color="#CC3333">CO bets $5</font>, Button calls $5, Hero calls $5, BB calls $5, UTG folds.

Turn: ($40) A/images/graemlins/spade.gif <font color="#0000FF">(4 players)</font>
Hero checks, <font color="#CC3333">BB bets $16</font>, CO folds, Button calls $16, Hero folds.

River: ($72) 2/images/graemlins/club.gif <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">BB bets $15</font>, Button calls $15.

Final Pot: $102

Results:
BB has Th Jh (high card, ace).
Button has Jc Ac (one pair, aces).
Outcome: Button wins $102.

Not quite sure what BB was up to there.

I had to fold the turn because of the ace.
Question is: with button down as a fairly aggressive pre-flop player should I have re-raised him and maybe taken him out of the hand before the flop?

I just call the raise in hand one on the turn. KK is a very possible holding for villain with a PF re-raise.

Hand two, C/R the flop and find out where you stand. Good laydown on the turn, IMO. Oh, and put BB on your buddy list as he seems to be leaking money all over the table (1/5th pot bluff on the river! Brilliant.)
