I feel bullied

Should u ever try to defend against a standard pot sized bet from a preflop raiser after the flop?

Yep, depending on flop texture, your most common situation to do this will be against an aggressive preflop raising who will auto-bet a missed flop, even when they are all rags. Check-raise these guys and they'll give up their hands 90% of the time.

Something like this:
Villian raises to $3
Hero calls $3 (maybe AQ, 10-10)

Flop doesnt hit you, no significant draws
Villian bets $6
Hero?

Thx Doom

What size of check raise would we look at?

Also i tend to autobet missed flops, is that wrong?

I do 2x his original bet. It depends on your opponents and your opponents perception of you whether or not to bet a missed flop, and also on flop texture. I will often not bet a flop that contains a suited connector, since people will stay with only a draw and it is impossible to know if they have a hand or not. Bet flops like J 2 7 and Q 5 9, the ones that if no one has top pair they will fold.
