View Full Version : Sweat request

This is the first time I ever requested sweat, but I just made it to the final table of the Empire WSOP freeroll. I haven't had that heart-beating through your chest feeling in a long time and I'm thinking some late night zoo sweat would help calm the nerves.

Oh yeah, I'm in the 6 seat next to chip leader, I'm currently in 2nd.

Ha, I tried to say 'nh' on the 44 hand, apparently my chat got revoked at Empire. I don't play here, I can only assume it was my cousin on play money. I don't remember getting an e-mail. Classic.

Dude raises every hand with [censored], and I can't get cards to catch him. He's been on my right for 2+ hours now

NH. Why did you raise such a small amount? Don't answer this while you're playing, concentrate.

AK vs AA sucked bad. Good luck.

Damn... you finally had a hand against the hyper-aggressive bi-atch and she had aces. You can come back.

It's a break, so I'll answer:

I min raised out of the BB with AA hoping to get re-raised. Both were pot comitted (so I thought) if they called so this was a way of getting the people to call. In a non-satellite, I may have re-raised all-in but I need chips in this game, and I'm willing to go out with someone drawing out with AA,

IMO Spawn is making a big mistake.

Way to go man, that was some good play with a dash of luck ;] I don't know how you handle that pressure because I was only watching and even I couldnt. Good luck to you at the WSOP, show those PokerStars losers what its all about. Oh yeah, you should get a brown trout shirt like Jurollo.

Congrats dude.
Good luck.
Had a feeling that when I returned to check that you might have pulled it off.

I would like to point out that the last two Empire WSOP-freeroll winners (jurollo and corey) both were on my table when I was eliminated.

Last week Jurollo was to my immediate left and my short-stack all-in with KQ lost to his 99 and I finished 24th.

Last night I finished 35th as Corey was 2 seats to my right. Some guy beat my AA with his awesome 33. Woo-hoo!!

So...the lesson is...if you want to win one of these WSOP freerolls, get on my table when I get knocked out. I evidently leave all the positive 2+2 karma with whatever fellow trout is closest.

I want to say thanks for the Zoo sweat. An a confessed terrible tournament player, I'm amazed I even made it to the final table, let alone took a WSOP seat. I did my fair share of sucking out and getting sucked out on, but in such a top-heavy tournament, I was willing to risk my stack to get chips for the final table. It worked out and I now know what it feels like to do excessive sucking out.

It hasn't hit me yet, but I think I'll just be walking down the street in the next week and yell "[censored] yeah" for seemingly no apparent reason.

This just goes to show Bonus Whoring (signup, IGMPAY, and the reload this month) and drunken LAGfests hav extra benefits: they allow you to collect raked hands for the freeroll. I had to play an extra 400 hands this afternoon to qualify and was actually down a bit, but I guess it was time well invested.

Thanks again.
