Hi guys. Wondering if you could take a look at this and let me know what you think. At the time, I was happy with my play, but looking at it now, I think I boned it with the pot-sized bet on flop.

What do you think?

Where to start...

Limp pre-flop. If you are going to raise, 12xBB is SEVERELY massive. If you get calls when you raise this, then don't raise hands like 88. On the flop, 15 is excessive. 8 would've done the trick. Turn is standard.

i agree. Why would you raise so much pre-flop and on the flop with just a med. pair.If he has anything you're cooked

Wow. I honestly don't know what the hell I was thinking with the preflop raise. I usually bring it in at 4x.

Yes, I am a moron.

I can't see how you won this hand. Did you?

If so what did he have, a really low pair or straight draw?

Well, I had put him on AJ, or KQ, as anything better (QQ, AK, etc.) he probably would have pushed all-in to my $6. When the flop came, I figured it missed him.

No idea what I was doing with such a massive raise pre-flop.
