=======================

First hand I reraised the river thinking there was a better chance of him having AQ than the flush. (calling two cold w/ a drawing hand when there have been no other callers is bad, no?) Was I overly optimistic and cost myself 2 BBs?

The second hand was a bit more tricky. The other player in the hand is good, definately better than this skill level (He plays all the limits up to 20/40 on PP). I'm thinking maybe I should have folded to his turn check-raise. However, my thinking is that he might do that with several hands which I still beat (86, 76, A8, A7) and I thought the chances of him having 46 for the made straight were pretty slim. Again, was this too loose of a call?

Oh, a quick question re: posting etiquette. Is it frowned upon to post entire online hand histories?

that's life of low limit games where suckout happens quite often...

1) It was suggested to me when I started posting that I should clean up the hand histories and post them in a more "text" fashion. It's up to you, some people don't like to read them in the manner you have posted them.

2) First hand was terribly overplayed on the river I think, but I do believe strongly in trusting your reads, so if you considered the flush, and decided he didn't have it, then it's the right play, and it was a bad read this time. @nd hand you played as well as you could.

Some people seem to have a problem with it, but I don't mind. The way I see it, the people who complain about it aren't going to give their best effort to help you either way, since they are too lazy to read hand histories.

hand 1: You caught a tough break with the guy making his flush. However, you compounded the problem by 3-betting the river. If someone raises me on the river, I need to be very certain of my read to come over the top of 'em.

hand 2: Another tough break, but I think you played it fine. Maybe I'm too tight in the blinds, but do y'all regularly play 87o against a non-steal raise getting 5:1 on your call? I rarely do.

Since the poster is the one soliciting the help, wouldn't it follow that they should be less lazy? I for one don't pay as much attention to hands in this format. I think the narrative style lends itself better to following the action, with seat assignments ("the cut-off raised"), etc.. I know there are others like me. I think if people want your posts to be read by a big audience they should clean them up.
