By this point: "MrSmokey1 bets $525, B Buddy calls $525," you have to know you're beaten. If you think they will fold AA or KK ok, its read dependant. But I wouldn't make this play in a multiway pot.

I am not certain he's behind. BBuddy is superLAG and could be on any two cards, right? That's the sense I've gotten from other posts here.

I am pretty sure I've played some live hands with Mr. Smokey, and if he's who I think he is I know he's willing to put lots of money in without a big pair.

So you could be ahead, and if you're behind you probably have six outs, 9s and Js.

Depends on your read on the other players.

Sometimes he is and could be, other times he isn't and couldn't.

Knowing what mode BBuddy is in is important.

You're definitely going to get called by MrSmokeys KK or AA - maybe even QQ.

No way you're ahead and I don't think you're going to get them to fold enough. It's only 1400 more for EITHER of them to call.

HU - maybe, but look at the preflop action. 1400:3300 on the call for mr.smokey and even better for BBuddy if Smokey calls.

I just can't see how you are ahead in this situation.

525 smells so much like AA/KK wanting to get rid of draws.

Hi,

There are no flush draws on this flop just str8 draws.

Just betting half the pot in a 3 way pot isn't protecting your hand at all given a lot of CC hands will have 8-10 outs or move given this flop. Those 10 outs will consist of pairs with str8 draws and backdoor flush draws.

Basicly everyone who is playing this hand is commited to seeing a showdown if they call the flop so its either fold or all in for hero and hope you got/get lucky. Given MP2 open raise/call is likely over cards or less then premium hand and Buttons raise of an MP2 open raise and CC doesn't have to be a bigger pair. It could be a big ace looking to isolate/steal the pot and take it down on the flop.

I'm more curious about preflop since its not how I would play it. Why not reraise BBuddy given an MP open raise could be a little light? Or was the intent to conceal your hand and play a pot with him in position? Or to keep the pot small?
