They reuse the artwork on the facecards at PP and it drives me crazy. I have been in the process of correcting the face card are. So far here are the ones I've fixed
For anyone that wants the corrected cards here they are...
(Jack of Hearts) - Now facing right way

Multi-color decks are useful if you multi-table, it can only help. Saying that its "retarded" to use it is well... retarded.

I modified mine so it was a Congrats pic with Sean Connery's face. Then I changed the fireworks sound to be Connery saying the "Winners go home and [censored] the prom queen" line from The Rock. That was good times when I'd win a hand.
How many tables do you play?

Holy crap. Never used 4-color decks before. Just tested it out. Looks like I'm converting. That only took a year to figure out.

4 color deck blows. i play 4+ tables and can't even stand to look at that BS. it's really not tough to tell the difference between suits. people like to say there's no disadvantage to it, and it can only help, but they're wrong to say that. like i said i've NEVER had a problem telling a club from a spade or heart from a diamond. 4 color deck is just gross.

The only problem I have with the 4 color deck is that when I replay a hand in pokertracker, I occasionally think: "WTF, I didn't have a club that hand." Until I realise I did, only that it was green /images/graemlins/grin.gif.

I use this one and it really helps me from going on tilt. If you've just dropped 30 BB, pick up aces and only manage to steal the blinds, at least you get to scream "EAT IT LITTLE BITCHES." Then it does the little animation and I'm happy again.

They do exist. PT has the option for it also in the replayer.
Anyway, I like the 4 color deck. It speeds up my pattern recognition skills and makes it easier to evaluate a flop at a glance, which is good while multitabling. Plus the blue diamonds are perty.

Yes! Few hands are more beautiful than holding A/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, K/images/graemlins/diamond.gif and seeing a flop of K/images/graemlins/club.gif, 3/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, 8/images/graemlins/diamond.gif in blue.

they have already been tried out in casinos and got the big ax. people didnt like them, but worst of all, when dealers pitch the cards, its way easier for an angle shooter can pick up the exact suit, whereas before it was just red/black.

Interesting point and this convinces me enough that they are a bad idea in B&M. But, 4 color is clearly the way to go online.

Mason actually wrote about it in one of his essays for B&M play. I've permanently made the switch after a misread of the board cost me a stack.
