I've noticed the 2001FP overwhelmingly stated as the monitor of choice for multitabling w/o overlap. Any other suggestions based on size and recommended resolution?

I bought a Sceptre X-20G Naga II, 20.1" and 1600x1200. cheaper than a dell 2001fp, but not by much if you have a coupon for your dell. I'm happy with the screen quality, but before I had it a week the power button broke. Luckily it broke in the "on" position. I could RMA it but would haev to pay to have it shipped out, and would probably be without it for 2 weeks.

You can check www.newegg.com (http://www.newegg.com) to do comparision shopping for comptuer parts.

I got my 2001fp for $506 shipped using coupons from this site. (http://dealnews.com/)

I think the coupon has expired by now but if you keep checking back, it will surely be available again at the same or lower price. BTW, I love the new monitor.

I got my 2001fp for $940 shipped from Dell Sweden.

The price difference sucks, but still, I'm thinking of getting another one. Pricy, yes, but these Dells sure add quite a bit in quality of life when you spend your working days in front of the computer.

Besides, it's only N big bets, and as I move on up, eventually they will be practically free of charge, in terms of BB:s. /images/graemlins/wink.gif

I bought a Princeton 19D for $369 today from Costco. Max resolution is 1280 x by 1024 but this monitor is sweet (even without factoring in it is 1/2 as expensive as most 19" LCDs).

Read the reviews at Newegg and see...

I have Viewsonic 201b (20.1-inch TFT, 1600x1200) and I'm very satisfied with it.

Recently purchased a NEC AccuSync 900 19 inch CRT from NewEgg.com--about $200 and looks great.
