I saw Caro on the By-the Book tourney. I also saw the promo for next week with Gabe Kaplan at the final table.

It just struck me that those two would be a great commentary duo.

somehow i don't think you want to give caro an open microphone. he might end up rivaling vvp for annoying.

after listening to Fossilman last night, I want to hear him with Lederer and Sklansky... fundamentals baby...

Those two would be close to my nightmare duo. Kaplan is dry as dirt, and Caro can't shut up, a lethal combo, IMO.

If you're going to have an amazingly beautiful woman at the table, you should also have Devilfish Ulliott.

I would want Hansen to commentate, and Caro. Hansen would be hilarious! People would be laying down hands, and he would like "Mike (or whoever), I really hate that laydown. A raise is better!"

Lederer + Chad + a decent play-by-play person.

I think a good poker broadcast needs some laughs. FSN, while amazingly detailed, can get a bit dry. ESPN and Travel Channel provide little in the way of useful poker strategy though, but Lederer will do a great job of providing that on his own.

No love for Raymer who made his live debut a couple of nights ago on live at the Bike? Though Greg was excellent, there may be better pros. Nobody tell this to ESPN or they just may go make Poker the theme for Dream Job 4.
