Dear PokerStars Player,

The battle for poker supremacy is getting underway. Join us for the second annual World Cup of Poker. PokerStars players from all over the world will team up and face off in a round-robin tournament to determine which country is king for 2005.

Free travel, PokerStars gear, $125,000 in prize money and ultimate bragging rights are all on the line during this year's World Cup of Poker. Best of all, it's absolutely free to enter. You only need 50 Frequent Player Points (FPP) to get in the game. World Cup of Poker finalists will win an all-expense paid trip to London, May 16-19, 2005. Once in London, the final match will be taped for television broadcast and a champion will be crowned.

Starting Monday, February 28th, PokerStars will hold two qualifying tournaments for each World Cup of Poker country, including specific qualifiers designated "Rest of the World" for all players from countries who do not have World Cup of Poker Teams.

USA players, if you missed out on qualifying for your state's team, you can still get in the game. Two FPP qualifiers will be held under the name "TeamUSA." The winner of each will join the final United States World Cup of Poker team, "TeamUSA."

Players may participate in both of their country's World Cup of Poker qualifying tournaments. To register for your country's qualifier click "WCP", then "FPP Qualifiers" in your PokerStars game lobby. Registration will open two hours prior to the start of the tournament.
