At what point does it become profitable to play any two out of the BB. A good example was last night i am in the BB with 63o. UTG and UTG+1 limp, UTG+2 raises, two posters in the CO-1 and CO call. Getting 11-1 but realistically 13-1 you can call profitably with any 2 here right? So at what point can you call with any two?

I dont think calling here is correct. There is plenty of value but 6 3 off is a rare winner. I would say any two suited or at least connected cards such as 5 6, 8 9 ect. 6 3 is in my mind not worth the extra bet.

I think the cutoff for what you call with out of the BB is 100% determined by how well you play post flop.

If you can't determine with a high amount of accuracy when weak/marginal hands like bottom 2-pair or TPNK (top-pair < T) are no longer good then you could be setting yourself up to lose a lot of money playing hands like 63o in the BB. Best to limit yourself to hands that play well in multiway pots (i.e. any pocket pair, any suited A or K, suited connectors, maybe suited 1-gaps). You go into these hands only with the intention of flopping the nuts or a big draw - if you don't, it's an easy release.

In reality you probably aren't losing much more than .50BB in the longterm by calling 63o getting 13:1. My guess is that you would lose less than by folding. Certainly any suited cards and any unsuited 1 gapper is playable.

I was assuming you play well (or better than your opponents) postflop.

You have a 2% chance of flopping two pair. You have a 1% chance of flopping trips. Against 5 players you are best off folding bottom pair out of position. Even top pair 6s is trouble. So you are getting 11:1. So what?
