A nice rack certainly helps.

Friendly and fast are both great.

Generally speaking you need to have good people skills and know how to relate to all kinds of players. Knowing when you can joke around with players and have fun with them vs. when they just want quiet is very important. Obviously when someone is running good they will be in a better mood and would probably welcome some chatter but if they are having a bad day at the tables they might just want to sit and quietly stew over thier losses.

The BEST dealers, however, are the ones that deal me winning hands.

Hey guys, wuts up?

Sorry, Im shift the topic a little bit if thats ok.

Id like to become a poker dealer. You need some type of training at a school for dealers, as i heard, is this correct? Also Im 18, so i could probably only work at an 18+ card room.

Any comments and corrections on this information would be greatly apprieciated.

-Thanks.
