Was my raise preflop too big? Should I have called the flop? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Looks good.

That's crappy luck.

I would have bet a little lower on the flop, 300 is a big bet because if he hits his ace he's all in.

I like your pre-flop bet.

I wouldn't have led out on the flop when the ace hit, since you are out of position against 2 players who called a considerable pre-flop bet.

I would probably check the flop, and if everyone checks, I might check the turn, too, and perhaps call a smallish bet. You are likely either way behind or pretty far ahead by then, so this keeps the pot small.
