I saw Mason wear one at the 2+2 gathering on the 13th...

it imbues the wearer with certain powerful poker powers.... - that's probably the first time in 10 yrs. he's ever straddled....LOL

Okay, I placed my order. I don't like that putrid light blue color, though, since it looks like something the Tarheels would wear.

Hi Dukie:

You sould make some custom ones, put some printing on the back:

2+2 logo shirt $16.95
WPT entry: $25,000
Coming back from a 10:1 chip deficit to beat the "Godfather" of poker: Priceless.

Nice looking shirts btw, re you going to expand(clors, t-shirts, etc) or will that be the test to see how they do?

Just collared polo shirts? Can't wear em.

Regular or long sleeve T-shirts would be cool. /images/graemlins/grin.gif

Hi Mason,

Until you come out with the following shirts, I'm not buying:

"Ray Zee is my barber."

"I roll with The Mason's posse."

"I'm # 753 on the smartest poker players list."

Regards,

Sucker

Is there a way to buy them while in Vegas and save on the shipping?

I know, I'm a cheap bastard.

Just as a minor aside, in my traveling for my game, at one convention the good folks at Wizards of the Coast (makers of Magic: The Gathering) were giving out random T-shirts to any random person walking past.

Anyway... One guy, when he asked for "just an XL" got the reply from the staffer:

"XL: the gamer's medium."

By the way, it's great to be in the ACC.

If you are a fully developed male over 5ft 6in that doesn't wear at least an "M" in t-shirts you might want to:

1) add some protein to your diet
2) go outside every so often

Good Price on the shirts, but I'm afraid based on the appearance it's a "You get what you pay for..." type deal.

Personally, I think those things are hideous looking and wouldn't be caught dead in one.

That and you don't actually read the books if you think they are mutually exclusive.

I won't waer one for the following reasons:
1) It's too much fun to sit down and ask, "Does the brown trout sleep in the closet?"

2) I'll get much more action wearing my Party Poker shirt.

3) I don't want the n00bs asking what's 2+2 and finding out there actually good books they should be reading instead of learning to play by watching Celebrity Poker.

I totally agree. You guys need to now your customer base! I'd guess that at least 90% of the people who visit these forums regularly have at least one Neteller account. Oh, and these are the same people who'd be interested in these shirts.

Yeah, but come on. They all also have a major credit card. Is it really that crazy or inconvenient to take credit cards only? I don't think it is.

Yeah, I agree.
Plus, even if they don't have a credit card, most people have a debit/check card these days.

the bottom line is, i think theyd sell a lot more if neteller was available. maybe using neteller to buy one makes it seem like you are only spending part of your gambling bankroll or winnings. if i actually get out my debit card its going to feel more like im spending "real" money that could be used on rent, etc.

Exactly...

Also, if I use a credit/debit card, I'll have to explain the purchase to my wife. That will tough, since she is still thinks I pay for all the logo merch I get from various poker sites.

My order is in. You think the garb will help with the chicks? I have found that playing poker is -EV when it comes to the females. Maybe it's been the black and gray '80's Ozzy and Iron Maiden concert t-shirts? /images/graemlins/tongue.gif

After Sklansky's post with reference to 2+2 goons (http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showthreaded.php?Cat=&Number=1878527&page=&view=&s b=5&o=&vc=1) , would anyone buy a shirt that said "2+2 Goon"?

I wore my fancy schmancy 2+2 shirt in the poker room yeaterday and got lots of questions about who 2+2 was. Not one person there had a clue.

It was good to see that these fish didn't know who you (we?) are for two reasons, even though the reasons are kind of opposed to each other.

1) The fish I play against aren't educating themselves with 2+2 books.

2) 2+2 has lots of fish to market to.

On one hand it's good that not every Joe Blow is studying HEPFAP, SSHE, whatever. I hope they never do.

On the other hand, I wish the 2+2 crew all the best.

I guess it would be best for the fish to buy the books, but not read them, or at least not understand them. /images/graemlins/smirk.gif

OK...ramble over.
