I hate the preflop call in Early position.

I usually play super-tight, was mainly trying to mix up my play a little bit,

but perhaps you are right, maybe it was an uber-stupid hand to even play in the first place.

If your going to mix up your play then go ahead. I wouldn't play this but if your going to you will need to raise more than the minnimum and then maybe T4 suited wouldn't call you. Yes this play makes you look like a dumbass.

1) I don't like the min-raise. If you're going to play it, a call is fine. This is the kind of hand that you want to play as cheaply as possible and with as many people as possible. Personally, I wouldn't have played it.

2) As for the rest of the hand, I think it was played about right. The guy had no business playing 10-3 and it's not too often that you see a flush go down to a higher flush. Also, with the high cards on the board, it's perfectly reasonable to think he had 2 pair or a straight.

Things like this happen. That's why we all love poker.

Why would you ever care about mixing up your play in an SNG where 90% of your opponents don't even care, and the other 10% you probably won't ever see again?

This is an excellent point. You can play ABC poker at this level and be quite a winning player.
