Besides UB, Party, and Paradise, what other sites have any decent traffic? I have scoped out a few and there aint nobody playin Omaha 8b, some playin PLO which is not one of my stronger games. All opinions are greatly appreciated.

What limits? Do you prefer full table or would be willing to play 6 max?

PokerStars usually has .5/1 and 5/10 and higher full tables usually going. On occassion 2/4 or 3/6 full table games might get going. But there are always 1/2, 2/4, 3/6 6 max games going on this site. But I don't like 6 max because so many O8b hands prefer multiway action.

Pacific may be another one to check out. They had a few going the few times I was there.

Pokerroom has a 3/6 game going that is full most days. The .50/1 is going everyday with 2 tables, while the 2/4 PL O8 is hit or miss. 1/2 has a 5 max table that is most generally full as well.

Do anyone know of a 20/40 or above playing with some regularity?

pipes, what is the advantage to 6 max O8 play? I play alot of 6 max holdem and like being very aggresive in my betting patterns. But the few times I tried short O8 I didn't know how to apply my holdem aggressiveness to the O8 game.

I tend to be very tight preflop and didn't like adding more hands preflop. Also didn't push nonnut holdings postflop.

I usually play the 100 PLO8 at party and sometimes the 3/6 but like the PL better.

Ohh, I don't like playing 6 max Omaha8b. (Although I have a feeling that a specialist in these games probably earns a larger BB than full ring) O8b is a different game than hold'em. Being aggressive and taking the lead, does not seem to work as well in O8b as it does in SH Hold'em. No hand is usually a great favorite over another and a weak opponent will usually cling to a weak low or high. I find it hard to scoop large pots which is where I make alot of money in full games.

I think the SH games simply help the bad players by making their loose calls more correct.

This is just my experience/opinion. I just prefer a full game.

Party Poker for sure.

There's usually a long waitlist though. PokerStars usually has 30/60 and sometimes 75/150 going.

Good site, but I think this lumps in Omaha (PLO included) and Omaha8b together, correct?

I assume so, but that should not affect the relative differences between the different sites. Without reason to believe otherwise, if Site X has twice as many total Omaha games as Site Y, then X should have twice as many O8 games as Y.

The major exception to this would be sites that cater to European players. PLO high is a much more popular game in Europe than it is here in the colonies.

I hear ya, but yes unfortunately there are many sites that usually have PLO games running but no O8b games.

But it sort of depends what type of O8b games people want to play. PLO8b games are probably the most abundant. Only a few sites offer consistent full ring limit O8b.
