London Cardrooms

Hey everyone...I am heading off to London on March 16th and I was interested in playing some poker there...I was wondering if anyone knew of any cardrooms I should head to or any other info about poker in London...I know that most of the cardrooms require a membership so any info on how to obtain one before my trip would be great. Thanks for your help.

due to uk law, you must register for membership at a casino 24 hours before you can gamble there. Usually it's just a case of returning a form to them with your details like name/etc along with a copy of some ID, and then picking the membership card up when you get there or getting it in the post. a lot of them will have their membership forms on the web, and you can print it off and fax it back to them.

I've just moved here myself and I've played there a couple times. You will only find pot-limit for the cash games, but they do run a lot of nl tournies. No 24 advance registration required.

The Vic is kind of grim, but the poker is pretty good. Prepare to be sucked out on by the short stacks...
