MP3 was loose passive, but with a high PFR (15%). I decided I was behind whem 3-bet on the flop, was I correct to check-fold on the turn? Who calls this down?

If your read is correct, I prefer to bet the flop and see if the passive player raises here. Most passive players will not raise here.

That being said, yes I think vs. a passive post flop player, the 3 bet then turn bet is enough to tell you that you are behind. It looks like he got scared of the river flush card (as a passive player would).

Good fold IMO. Also, the presence of the third player is not good for you here.

Good fold. I think the PF call is a little thin with only one limper though. If there were one more limper I think a call is +EV, but as is I think I fold.

Folding the best hand is never correct.

You do realize that Hero was in the BB?

With your preference being?

Also, what factors determine your decision? Will you 3-bet versus someone loose, and fold against someone tighter?

So you disagree? Do you call instead?

I thought he was in LP.

Disregard statement above.

I screwed up. I thought he was in LP, not the BB.

However, to answer the question IF you were in LP...

3 bet much looser raisers. (also consider the limper) Fold to all others. Being the first one next to the aggressor sucks. It's raise/fold. I can't remember the last time I coldcalled being the first one on the left. The more opponents in between, then coldcalling becomes more of an option.
