Just wondering what you all consider a proper bankroll for the limits you play in a B&M, is it still the standard 300BB or 20 buy ins depending on limit or NL? and what do you bring with you to play. For both cases.

When thinking about limit bankrolls, I still think 300BB is a good rule of thumb. I'm not really sure about NL. I've heard ranges from 10 to 30 x buy-in.

Bankroll theory assumes you are a certain type of winning player. It also depends on the variance of the game. For example, a stud bankroll is much larger than a hold em bankroll, becuase the draw outs are that much more devastating. that being said, a more aggressive game has higher variance, so it also depends on the game. But if you are a 1bb/100 player (i think) the conventional wisdom is 300 bb. if you are a .5 bb /100 player it should be larger because of the increased variance. and if you are a losing player, you should just give me your money directly.
