I probably am wrong, but I always have thought there are much better/more subtle jokes that I find way funnier, especially after repeated viewings.

Rick James was the funniest thing I had ever seen in TV the first time it aired. I don't think that can be argued. But, with it becoming so popular, that did taint it a bit. There have been a ton mentioned:
