This hand is from a couple of months ago and I've been thinking about it a little lately.
We're down to 25, and 18 get paid. Blinds are T1000/2000 with a 300 ante, 9 handed. I'm sitting pretty good with ~T40000. It gets folded to the SB, who hasn't played a hand since I sat down 2 orbits ago. He pushes in his last T3700. I look down and find 87o. It's T2700 to me with T9400 in the pot.
Is this a close decision, or is it as clear as it seemed at the time?
I'll post my decision along with the results a little later.

This is an easy call with 32o.

You are getting 3.5-1 for ~7% of your stack.
You should call this even if the dealer only gave you one card.

3.5:1 for such a small part of your stack is an autocall IMO. If he has an overpair, then too bad. He could just as easily be pushing with any ace.

Ok, this is as clear as I thought it was then.

I called and he flipped up AKo. Flop was 654 all spades (he had the A /images/graemlins/spade.gif), turn and river came no spades, and I took the pot.
