when I was in Vegas in January, my sister introduced me to her friend that was playing at the Bellagio. he said there was a poker rate, which was something like $49/night if you play 4 hours. is there any truth to this? if so, does the person staying have to already have a history of playing at the Bellagio?

also, when I was at the Mirage, they told me they had a poker rate too. I didn't ask for details. I think I'll be there the 10th-15th or so and I'm trying to figure out what to do about a room

The rate does exist, but the $49 is way off - at least for normal people - maybe there's some super-duper VIP rate. The rate I'm aware of and am getting is $129 Mon-Thurs and $199 Fri-Sat for 6 hours of play per day and they want at least 3 days. The Mirage also has a poker rate, but it's I think $99 and $139 and you have to play 8 hours per day.

thank you

and I think he was playing 10-20 NL. maybe that's why he got a better rate

does the person have to have a history of playing there?

Nope!Just call and ask to speak to the poker room when you book your room. Tell them youare an unrated player, they are very helpful.

You need not have history. I've posted the info several times.
For all the info, click here (http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showflat.php?Cat=&Board=holdem&Number=1524652&Foru m=All_Forums&Words=%2Bbellagio&Searchpage=0&Limit= 25&Main=1519800&Search=true&where=bodysub&Name=100 72&daterange=1&newerval=4&newertype=m&olderval=&ol dertype=&bodyprev=#Post1524652) and here (http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showflat.php?Cat=&Board=cardroom&Number=1663493&Fo rum=All_Forums&Words=%2Bpoker%20%2Broom%20%2Brate% 20%2BBellagio%20&Searchpage=0&Limit=25&Main=166007 2&Search=true&where=bodysub&Name=10072&daterange=1 &newerval=4&newertype=m&olderval=&oldertype=&bodyp rev=#Post1663493) and here (http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showflat.php?Cat=&Board=exchange&Number=1470148&Fo rum=All_Forums&Words=%2Banother%20%2Bbest%20%2Bveg as%20%2Bfor&Searchpage=0&Limit=25&Main=1470148&Sea rch=true&where=bodysub&Name=10072&daterange=1&newe rval=4&newertype=m&olderval=&oldertype=&bodyprev=# Post1470148)

In the end, my advice is to call the poker room office - they're very helpful.

How much are the rooms before the poker rate? ie how much are you saving by getting the poker rate?

The difference is fairly significant. Poker rate for Mirage is $139, $139, $99 for the three days I'm staying - regular rate is $199, $199, $149.

Holy [censored] man - it was bad enough that I had to give you www.bellagio.com. (http://www.bellagio.com.) Click Hotel Reservations. Would you like me to hold your hand when you cross the street too? Maybe you need someone to wipe your ass for you?

The poker room rate is in this thread, and the regular room rate is at the link provided. That should help you compare and contrast.

Lots of people like to BS about how they get their room rate or BS about comps in general. You are not getting $49 a night at Bellagio for play poker. You are not getting food comps at Bellagio for playing poker

Unless you know someone or you(or the wife) are gambling lots of money elsewhere in the casino.

I have been through the easiest comps in the world(Stratosphere upon reopening was giving $200 comps for top of the world restaurant + all meals + room for $25-40 average bet BJ players at a very good DD BJ game. Filet Mignon, Lobster, and $30 cognacs every night.) and the most difficult(the current state at Mandalay Bay).

Simply put, if you gamble lots, Bellagio loves you. If you just play poker, you will get the rates others have listed here.

Whatever dude. If you're going to be a dick don't bother to reply to my message in the first place. I honestly couldn't find it and still can't so I guess that makes me some dumb monkey moron huh?

If you seriously can't find everything you need to compare Bellagio's poker room rate to their normal rate with the information given in this thread, then yes you are a dumb monkey moron, and that's being quite generous. I'm sorry to be so blunt and I generally try not to do this, but I really can't believe the degree of your futility. You can't image how much I was biting my tongue even putting up the www.bellagio.com (http://www.bellagio.com) link. You've shown yourself to be completely helpless.

Hmm. Maybe I couldn't find it because you have to enter your CC info and actually go through the process of checking out a room? Something that would have been nice to know before you started insulting me. Do you honestly think your reply was warranted? I thanked you for the link and said I couldn't find the info and you verbally assault me? WTF man? Having a bad hair day?

From the time I read your last post to the time I got this rate quote through the link in this thread was approximately 5 seconds and no credit cards were required. You are helpless.

There, Milky. I've done all the work for you except the 3rd grade math. Do you need me to do that for you too?

Okay, explain this to me like I'm a 2 year old (you're doing a great job so far). Where in that screenshot does it say anything about a poker room rate? Or any sort of discount based on the poker rate?

Oh my aching ass. The poker rate was stated flat out in the first reply to this very same thread. I provided three links to other posts where the rate and all the qualifiers for it are provided and discussed, as well as the phone number to the Bellagio poker office and even the exact names of the people you'll talk to. You can get the normal rate from www.bellagio.com. (http://www.bellagio.com.) How freaking much more do I have to tell you?

edit: My first reply to the thread, which states that the rate is $129 for Mon-Thurs should say Sun-Thurs - that was a typo.

hahahhahahahahahahahha ROFL

Seriously I can't stop laughing. That's hilarious! I just re-read that post and then my replies from there. Yeah, I'm a bonehead. When you gave me the bellagio link I went to the site expecting to see some sort of poker rate somewhere and when I didn't see it, that's when it got crazy. My mind never put 2 and 2 together (lol) to go compare the website to your first post.

Oops /images/graemlins/blush.gif

That being said, I don't think your rude replies were warranted.

If you stay at Bellagio would hours played at the Mirage count towards the 6 hour requirement? I believe that is the case for the general "Rewards Club."

Also, what are the lowest Hold 'em games spread at Mirage?
