I dont like to push. I'd prefer a stronger hand here, and if not, then I'll wait till my bigblind so at least if I get lucky and win that hand, I get a few free hands afterwards.

I don't think its bad if you think theres a good chance the SB will fold and get it heads up with the BB. I think the real problem is how did you let yourself get so short to begin with. You now need a miracle to finish ITM. I would have taken a chance last orbit when you still had some chips and fold equity.

When you play enough sit and gos you realize that sometimes situations occur where you are going to be short stacked and desperate...it just happens sometimes.

Makes it a little better to go allin here. The problem is that even if you double up against the BB, you are still likely going to be screwed when your big blind comes around. If the hand was a bit better I'd go for it, but in this specific case I'd fold to my BB unless a good hand comes up.
