Not sure if this is the appropriate place as I'm new to the site. But if your short of a few bucks, and need to rebuild that dwindling bank roll maybe you should try the poker site at virgingames.com.

Its an English site that rarely ever has more than about 200 people on it at once.. but... what generous folks they are.

Talk about having *no* idea about NL poker.

Ok, if you're already really good don't bother, but if, like me, you're barely average then a few days on this site will make you feel good about yourself.

The advatange of a small site is of course that you can get to know everyone very quickly. That and bad play...well.. you do the math.

Good luck, hope my tip is useful.

I remember reading that Richard Branson (the airline guy) was thinking of getting into online gaming. Looks like this could be his site.

I downloaded and looked around. Just a couple of micro games going and all game limits in GBP's. Site offers casino games too but I didn't check on those. All in all seems like any other start up.

Has anything changed for the better?

Hi,

Just wanted to pop back and apologise for recommending this site to anyone.

My advice is don't go near it.

I carried on playing there for a bit and the opposition was very poor and I did make a few quid, however the software I've discovered to my horror, has some serious bugs.

On a number of occasions, when I held a good hand, the software sort of took over, and so whatever I tried to do each time, raise/call etc.. the damn thing just checked the hand through to the end...

This happened three times in a single session, and I think that is absolutely unacceptable.

Utter rubbish, I apologise to anyone who may have taken my earlier advice... I'll toke you a chip if I see you.
