thanks for the update amir. I don't understand why the hotspot feature was changed though. I might switch back to the older version, I can't seem to get the hotspot to pop up even when I click and hold it.

Ok I put up 0.966 on the website you can toggle the clicking on or off as you want.

It's cool and all, but I've been playing all night and have no idea what stats are good or bad.

I've been gone for a few weeks and upgrades. It now "forgets" to display the stats in a somewhat random manner. I.E. I'm playing along and all of a sudden an opponent's display disappears.

I thought I noticed this too but concluded I was going insane, let me take a closer look at it.

hey amir, how come when I try to install .966 over .965 it gives me a message saying I have a newer version installed and won't let me install the app.
BTW, nifty new site layout.

Hrm thats wierd, try uninstalling 0.965 first sorry I must have forgot to update the installer. I pushed 0.966 out in a rush before class.

Hey go in to Options in General and try checking the redraw issues checkbox and see if that helps.

Anyone else having a hard time getting this to work? I'm sure I have the configuration right but I get nothing in the table list.

The best place to get help is on the PV forums at http://www.playerview.net.

You added your Omaha database in the database options right?

Yup, but i note that the version says .96 Feb 12. Shouldn't this be .965?

amir the new website looks awesome.Look like you may be looking to make things a little more profitable for you..good luck with that.I'd like to donate again myself considering I made a small intial contribution. This thing is invaluable to me.

btw I dont think you updated the desktop shortcut from 0.965 to 0.966 still shows 0.965.

Yea, I always forget that. Oh well atleast you didn't end up with a zipped up copy of minesweeper, I've been running on about zero sleep.

The new version seems a lot less stable: clicking on Options then Configuration causes it to stop responding about 60% of the time on my comp, plus the hotspots feature no longer works at all.

The options thing I know about, the hotspots should work. Are you sure that you don't have them on click & hold mode? Look in the hotspots options.

Yeah I tried that: with click and hold mode unchecked, the hotspots no longer come up at all, with it on, they occasionally flash up for a second but it seems to be pretty random whether it responds or not.

Amir helped with some issues.I cut back on the number of databses I was using but I'm still having much more laggy behavior w/ this version for some reason.I also have had the client lock up me 2-3 times today even after using fewer databases when I go into options tab.I'm also getting the dreaded "hungapp" error message that seems to be a recurring issue for me and many others out there these days using IE and other apps when PV freezes.Machine is clean also /images/graemlins/frown.gif

Newbie dot Org (http://www.newbie.org/help/messages/4842.html)
Annoyances.org - hungapp in iexplorer.exe (Windows (http://www.annoyances.org/exec/forum/winxp/t1046122439)

nobody seems to have pinned this thing down and it's a recurring problem for me.
I have had sporadic problems w/ this error message since I first bought this new pc running XP Pro ...it has never effected PV ever until this latest release.Out of all the stuff I've read best bet is it's Symantec/anti-virus/firewall related?dunnuh
