View Full Version : Curiosity Question

I haven't had as much success as I would like in my endevour into live casino play. I'm doing much better online, and I am beginning to think that it might be my discipline that is failing a bit.

Anyway, I often find myself folding hands for very long periods of time, when playing live -- of course without anyone noticing. My preflop raises still gets 4-5 callers. Every now and then I'll make some stupid loose call and get myself into trouble.

And since I hardly ever meet any good players, when playing at my local casino, I keep wondering just how much or how long streaks some of you experienced B&M players have experienced only folding and not seeing any flops at all.

Kind of stupid question, I know. Just curious, so the next time I sit there and fold for 2 hours straight, I can rest assured that I'm doing the right thing, sticking to my game and not loosening up because it's a live game /images/graemlins/frown.gif.

My record is just under three hours of never seeing a flop outside of the blinds. I finally raised with KK, got six callers and my KK got cracked.

I guess it's a problem not being able to use Pokertracker at B&M poker room... /images/graemlins/wink.gif

Outside of maybe 10-12 hands, I pretty much folded for 8 hours straight on Monday...it happens.

I played 4 hands during a 5-6 hour session recently outside of the blinds. I won 3 out of the four, but I was slowly blinded down to nearly 30 bets. It wasn't a fun live session.
