Empire Poker 3-6 table

I am in SB with KQo, MP1 raises. Everyone else folds. First time i have seen him raise i have no read on him other then he seems to be a reasonably good player.

I call (mistake??)

flop is K-K-6

I check, MP1 bets I raise. MP1 3 bets. I call. (I am now putting MP1 on a big PP, possibly AK.)

Turn is 7 I check. MP1 bets, I raise MP1 calls. ( Now i know he does not have AK)

river is Q, I bet MP1 raises, I re raise, he caps, I call.

Basically, I think I played the hand quite well, but my question is this, is calling with this hand out of the SB a bad mistake. And, any thoughts on the post flop play?

Fold preflop. I might have just called his raise on the river. What hand do you think he would play this way that you can beat?

Calling a tight player with an easily dominated hand... hmmm.....

What the hell are you talking about? KQ is the nuts on this board.

(I also usually fold KQo to preflop raises).

This is a ridiculously easy fold preflop, without even considering the 1/3 blind structure.

i believe i would cap the river too...

preflop, though, fold...it's not a steal...i'd probably fold this in 2-4 too...there's $4 of dead money and you're probably behind, maybe a coin flip. your subkect line implies that is was suited...typo?

Why would the limit matter? Would you fold this in 1-2?

I think he means that even if the small blind were 1/2 of a
big bet and not 1/3 (as it is in this hand) he still wouldn't defend.
