Party Poker 0.5/1 Hold'em (10 handed) converter (http://www.selachian.com/tools/bisonconverter/hhconverter.cgi)
MP1 is laggy
Preflop: Hero is BB with Q/images/graemlins/spade.gif, A/images/graemlins/heart.gif.
<font color="#666666">3 folds</font>, MP1 calls, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, MP3 calls, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, SB completes, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, MP1 calls, MP3 calls, SB calls.

Flop: (8 SB) 2/images/graemlins/heart.gif, A/images/graemlins/spade.gif, 7/images/graemlins/spade.gif <font color="#0000FF">(4 players)</font>
SB checks, Hero checks, <font color="#CC3333">MP1 bets</font>, MP3 folds, SB folds, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, MP1 calls.

Turn: (6 BB) J/images/graemlins/diamond.gif <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets</font>, MP1 calls.

At this point he looks a lot like a flush draw to me.
River: (8 BB) Q/images/graemlins/heart.gif <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">MP1 raises</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero 3-bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">MP1 caps</font>, Hero calls.
This is where it was tricky... My two pair two pair looks good here, and the flush didn't come. Calling here seemed way too passive. Was threebetting correct?
Final Pot: 16 BB

Absolutely. Strong chance he has a lower two pair. Occasionally he'll have KT...

i probably play the same. unless he slowplayed a set, or hung around for runner runner str8, you got him. if he has a set he played it very poorly considering the flush draw on the board, and unless he has specifically K /images/graemlins/spade.gifT /images/graemlins/spade.gif, i have a hard time putting him on the straight. hopefully he showed you Q7o or something like that.

Ok, question. Is the preflop raise automatic here? I practically never raise out of the big blind useless it's a raise to me (and I have something worth raising.) Something about not revealing any strength I mite have post flop.

Raise, and it's not close.

Good play. You will make money playing that way in the long run. Don't fret the 4 out draws.

3 betting the river seems like the right play to me. You're more likely to see two worse pair like A7o or Q7o than the rivered straight.

Does anyone else think it was a mistake not to bet the flop here? I think the most likely result of checking is to see the flop checked through. With top pair good kicker and two suited cards on the flop I think you have to bet to charge people with flush draws or get extra bets from guys who can't let go of Q7o.
