$1-2 Full Limit Tight?

Anyone elses tables on $1-2 Full Limit on Party abnormally tight? Maybe I just picked some bad tables but between my 4 tables, I'm only averaging about 52% raked hands.

This InterTops bonus SHOULD take 2 1/2 hours but at this rate, I'm looking at adding another hour to that /images/graemlins/frown.gif

And all the weak tighties, or bonus whores, play 1/2 full. After about 15,000 hands of 2/4 the average players seeing the flop is about 3-4% higher for me than that at 1/2.

Although it's pretty tight right now, I can't complain because the play is still really weak. Having a good bonus hunt so far /images/graemlins/smile.gif

1/2 is imo, a tougher game than 2/4 and as tough as 3/6.

You know, I've thought this for a very long time, but have been embarrassed to say it. FWIW, I think 1/2 on Party sucks. I make much more (BB/100) at the next 2 levels up.

Truth be told, I suck at 6 max tables. I haven't tried in a couple months, but when I did, I got beat up pretty bad.

Not the first time I've heard this. I really don't know what I am long term but in 3 months I am overall a winner on 1/2 full.

I've tried to move up to 2/4 a couple times but haven't had much luck. I was a weak player back then though so I have to give it another shot since I feel I'm better now.

8K hands on 2/4 -3BB/100. Lost most of my bankroll, been rebuildng on 1/2 full. Could be bad luck...could be I just really suck too.

3/6 is a pipe dream right now.

You have played a crapload of 1/2 my friend.

I'm the exact opposite. I have only played 1500 hands at 1/2 but I'm down about 50BB. Everytime I sit down at those freakin tables just to try to get my 1/2 stats in PT into the green I lose. I just did the 1/2 6 max thing and it rocked, typically 50%-60% seeing the flop. Now at 2/4 after a meager 3500 hands I am at least in the green. Stupid overly tight 1/2 full.

Add another one, I'm a winner(around 2.2bb/100) at 1/2 but a loser when I did my 2/4 experiment. 2/4 on other sites I'm ok but something about the party games crushes me and until I figure it out it's tough to move up. That and bonuses clear much faster at 1/2.

2/4 and 3/6 will look the same if shorthanded tables are added at these limits. Fish generally like to gamble. The gamble is on the sh tables.

I had a rake avg of 80%+ when I cleared the Intertops bonus this morning.

Nice! I must have just had some bad tables. It took 788 hands to get 500 raked which isn't great, but it picked up a lot. The only good thing about it was it only took 2 1/2 hours as I was getting in 80 hands per hour average on each table.
