On the turn I had the best possible hand.

I was puzzled by the amount of action that I got.

On the river, I decided that if his "made" hand on the turn was KK, I was just going to pay him off.

What do you guys think of the river action?

Raise pre-flop. Looks like a lower set to me.

I think it's fine. I can't imagine anything, other than KK that he could be going wild on the turn with that would be imrpoved by the river K, and he's less likely to have it imo b/c he didn't raise preflop. I play it the same.

Edit: and of course I agree with Davelin to raise preflop.

Perfect imo. Why didn't you raise pf though?

Showoff...

Anyone who doesn't cap this river, doesn't understand this game very well. When you can lose to exactly 3 combinations of hands (the 3 combos of KK), you shouldn't even bother to think about what the other person has. In a live game you would consider slowing down after a few more raises, but in an online setting the betting will be capped before you should worry about it.

It's not in the Miller hand chart for a raise in EP.

I'm not quite sure how to play 99 vs 2 overcards on the flop in EP multiway, but when I get better I might consider it. :P

Oh crap.

Do you guys have some secret poker system out there that I don't know about?

Why are you raising PF with 99 in EP?

I'm curious.

I have a hard enough time with TT...

Could you guys direct me to some awesome posts about how to play underpairs to the top flop card, or just anything that has to do with crushing opponents using 99 in EP? /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Actually, that was going to be my next question.

So you figure I should call his 6-bet or 7-bet on this hand? /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Edit: Believe it or not, I was pretty curious about the possibility in a B&M setting.

Good stuff, sorry for the showoff hand.

Thanks for pointing out the # combinations for KK. (3!/2?)

I'm pretty weak with probabilities...

And what about 88 in EP? Raise that too? Why or why not?

You are in MP2 aren't you??

I'm reading you as in MP. 88 I call in both EP/MP, but I'm not doing anything special, just following the SSHE guidelines for tight games.

Hmm... okay.

Good point.

Would it depend on how good the limper was, or would it be a standard raise here?

Crap, yeah sorry guys. I thought for some reason that I was in EP when analysing the hand...

Hmm... I'm going to have to get more aggressive with 99.

Thanks for the heads-up.

since there was no PF raise by anyone I'd rule out KK, so your set looks good. 88 or 33 are most likely here as the person with 88 probably thought he was slowplaying it. Your hand has to be good. I just can't see the KK suckout here as almost everyone and thier mother will raise PF with KK, especially fromthe CO

lol. Because they read SSH and every player in the world other than them is a complete moron, don'tchaknow.

I don't mind the pf raise, but I don't mind a call, either.

If he has KK on the river, then God bless him for playing it like a girl. I can see AK, maybe, in which case he still plays like a girl.
