The utg+2 was loose passive, should I have let go of the lead on the turn on the scare card, or still bet into it. Should I also have folded to the C/R or did what I did

as an exercise, how many outs do you have 98? against 86? against a 7?

You definately lead the turn.

I don't fold the turn without a really good read. He may be raising two pair in which gives you ~8 outs for a better two pair and enough pot odds to see the river. And the pot's to big for me to fold the river UI. Pay the man his money.

I would fold to the turn check/raise. I highly doubt that an LP will be doing this with less then a straight.
