As the other poster said - they would be closed way too much. It takes a good 3' snowfall in a 12 hour period to shut the roads/businesses down.

I actually kinda liked it when we got snow like this when I was growing up (who doesn't love this when they're a kid?) and when I went to school at Michigan Tech. Now that I'm in Denver, I'm a bit disappointed by winter.
