I´m just beginning to take advantage of some of the advertised first user bonusses. I have a neteller account. The casinos are inquiring of quite a lot of personal data, for instance birth date, address etc.

I wonder if it´s really necessary to give each casino all of my correct personal data.

How do you handle this?

Thanks in advance!

I'd give them the correct info, I've been twice now asked for proof of ID before being able to cash out, if you can't proove you are who you said you were when you signed up you risk losing all your money!

What was more annoying was that the multipoker rep told my wife who answered the phone how much I'd deposited, my wife thought up tll that point that I was still playing penny stakes /images/graemlins/blush.gif And is now trying to talk me into spending some winnings! /images/graemlins/mad.gif

Yes, give them the right data. They never ask for SSN, just DOB / mailing address.

Occasionally if you ever get into a dispute with them they may ask you to e-mail in a scanned / fax a copy of your ID, and it would look very bad if it didn't match your records. You could go ahead and edit your ID information in Photoshop or something, but that's too risky. Just use the correct info the first time around.

i always give my correct info, or else it gets way to hard to remember all the info. if they dont want my business according to my real info, i'll take it elsewhere.

The first couple site I played at I changed my b-day, because I though you had to be 21. Now I feel like an idiot for that, and am planning on looking like a moron when I ask them to change it.

I did the same. One time when I called empire for some customer service inquiry, they asked for my birthday when I verified it. The conversation went like

empire rep: Hello sir, what's your email address..
me: blah blah
e r: and your birthday
me: jan 12, 1984
e r: what was that again
me: jan 12, 1984
e r: i'm sorry could you repeat that
me: jan 12, 1984
e r: what did you say your birthday was
me: oh yeah, I mean jan 12, 1983

LOL, I must've looked like the biggest douchebag ever.
