Should've just checked behind and check/folded the river unimproved right?

P.S. Sorry for this flood of posts by me. I'm in the middle of a downswing right now and trying to re-evaluate my game.

Raising with position here wouldn't be a bad idea as you get to represent alot, and if played back at, you can fold safely.

The hand then plays out as such:

Caruso raises, X calls.
Flop: X checks it, Caruso 2/3s it, X calls.
Turn: X checks. Caruso can now bet with the intention of checking behind on the river, or check and fold the river. X may fold anytime as well /images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Normally I open-raise with pocket 10s and higher, but I decided to limp to disguise my hand. Not such a good idea.

it is a marginal hand... no need to disguise those kind...

I meant disguise it as an overpair or if I flopped a set.
